Episode Overview

Taylor, Ruiz, and Johnson embark on a mission to locate Purcell after he goes missing. Their search spans three days, leading them to a heroin den run by three drug dealers. Danny refuses to budge, and the thugs prevent the soldiers from forcibly removing him. Meanwhile, Anderson and Team Viking are on a quest to locate a section of the Ho Chi Minh trail. Once they find it, they head back to base, where the situation with Danny has become common knowledge. Brewster urges Goldman to address the issue, but Goldman wants to discuss the Phu An massacre instead. Brewster risks his own career pushing the army to confront the incident. Under pressure from Goldman, Anderson organizes a commando mission to rescue Purcell, who must endure a painful cold-turkey withdrawal. Brewster is then instructed to remain silent about the massacre.
