Episode Overview

An elderly drifter is discovered murdered by the docks, clutching a whiskey flask in his grip. Initially, it seems like just another tragic incident involving a drunkard. However, Ogden's autopsy reveals the man had the liver of someone who didn't drink. Murdoch examines the flask and uncovers a hidden compartment containing a fragment of a coded message. The plot thickens when a man claiming to be the deceased's son arrives at the morgue to collect the body. As they dig deeper, the investigation uncovers political conspiracies, revealing that this case is much more complex than they initially believed.
