Episode Overview

Howson coordinates the capture of the creature that attacked Luce in the lake and begins to interrogate it, discovering that it is an Outcast, a timeless being with a collective consciousness. Meanwhile, Luce provides comfort to Daniel as he grapples with the loss of his friend, Cassie, while they wait for the decrypted medical files to arrive. When they learn the files will be delivered during an evening event, Luce devises a plan to slip away and get them. Their opportunity arises when Penn's father arrives at the facility, seeking information about his supposedly 'dead' daughter. Luce and Daniel finally obtain their files, but the revelations inside leave them in shock.
