Episode Overview
Savage and the Piccadilly Lily return from a mission to Blaustadt, landing with significant damage and narrowly missing some trees and a mansion near the new runway. Determined to remove the obstacles, Savage seeks out General Stoneman, who is busy receiving an award from the Archbury Town Council. The mansion belongs to the Earl of Archbury, currently occupied by Lady Catherine Hammet. When Savage visits her, he's mistaken for a burglar, leading to an injury for Corporal Smith. Later, he learns from Group Captain Evans that Catherine has been reclusive since her fiancé's death two years ago. During another mission, Savage crashes his plane to avoid the house and gets seriously injured. Following orders from Major Kaiser, he is taken to Lady Catherine's home, where a romance blossoms despite her reluctance to leave. To liberate her, Savage decides to have the house destroyed with the help of the authorities.
