Ban Ya, a talented young film director and screenwriter, juggles her career with teaching at a university and hosting a television program. Despite her accomplishments, she struggles with insomnia, troubling memories, and feelings of inadequacy. Her life takes a turn when she encounters Sung Mun, who encourages her to recognize her worth. At the same time, Ji Sung, a renowned author, extends an invitation for Ban Ya to stay at her home for a bit.
