Episode Overview

Ormerod hurriedly heads to assist after a boating accident, but soon discovers he was directed to the wrong spot. When he finally reaches the actual scene, his attempts to save a man’s life are in vain. Back at the hospital, he confronts Lizzie angrily about the mix-up, only to realize he jumped to conclusions. Can he find a way to make things right? Meanwhile, PC Ventress brings in two brawling men over a girl, but one of them suddenly collapses from a brain haemorrhage. Weatherill faces a heartbreaking situation as she helps deliver a stillborn baby, while nurse Meryl reveals her fears of possibly being pregnant.
