S01E18 Greg: Don't Leave Home Without Him
Episode Overview
Christine and Kim are excited about visiting their parents, and Jimmy reluctantly agrees to join in to keep Christine happy. Meanwhile, Greg has no intention of making the long trip for Kim and cleverly avoids it. However, he does show up at the airport to assist with Kim's luggage. When a flight attendant inadvertently allows him on the plane, it takes off before he can escape, leading to an unexpectedly chaotic journey. Just as Don despises Greg but adores Jimmy, Jenny, their mother, is infatuated with Greg while openly disliking Jimmy. Greg finds Jenny's affection overwhelming, wishing for her disdain instead. Her obsession with her knick-knacks and her arguments with Don push Greg to his limits. But when he realizes he misses a bonding moment with Sam on the family farm, he starts to reconsider the value of making Kim happy.
