Episode Overview

Margo Bently is in the process of writing her debut novel, which holds potential secrets that could be detrimental to a certain group. Tragically, she is murdered and brought to the lab, initially presumed to be a troubled alcoholic with cirrhosis. However, Quince senses there’s more to her story regarding her social status. While Quince prepares for a seminar in Buffalo, Asten takes charge in the lab. In Quince's absence, Asten mistakenly hands the body over to a fraudulent coroner, prompting Quincy to investigate. His search leads him to a slain literary agent in New York, sparking a race against time to conduct an autopsy before cremation, hoping to uncover a crucial connection.
