Quincy, M.E. (1976)

Episode Overview

Two cat burglars pull off a heist at a Mexican museum, making off with jewels valued at $4 million. They hide their loot in the floor of their boat and set sail for California, planning to sell the stolen gems. Upon arrival, one of their crew attempts to double-cross them and steal the jewels but gets caught in the act. In a desperate move, Alex, the lead burglar, poisons him with fish venom and tosses him into the harbor. Unfortunately for Alex, Quincy and Lee are nearby and rush to assist the dying man. Quincy arrives in time to save his life, but as he investigates the incident, he begins to suspect that there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
