Episode Overview
Melissa, Asten's wife, finds a young boy lost on the roadside at night and takes him in. Shortly after, they get into a car accident. When Quincy learns that Asten is away, he decides to check in on Melissa and the boy. Upon seeing Joey's bruises, Quincy immediately realizes they aren't fresh injuries from the accident; they appear to be the result of previous abuse. Reviewing the boy's x-rays only strengthens his suspicion that Joey is suffering from mistreatment, likely inflicted by his parents.
