Episode Overview

A nightclub mishap leaves renowned country singer JJ Chandler severely burned and hospitalized in intensive care. Sgt. Wendell, a narcotics officer, suspects that Chandler's accident was linked to freebasing cocaine, but he struggles to find evidence or a witness to support his theory. While Wendell searches for someone willing to come forward, Quincy reflects on the numerous drug overdose cases he has encountered in his role at the coroner's office. Determined to make a difference, he resolves to take action against the rampant drug problem in Los Angeles.
