Episode Overview

Following a heart bypass surgery that Ted Markham's brother underwent, he tragically passes away due to complications. Ted is furious that his sibling died from what should have been a straightforward procedure. Determined to find answers, he funds an autopsy through the Coroner's office, assigning the task to Quincy. After conducting the autopsy, Quincy suspects that the renowned surgeon, Dr. Royce, did not perform the operation himself. He theorizes that a practice called ‘ghosting’ occurred, where a junior resident stepped in to carry out the surgery in Dr. Royce's absence.
