Episode Overview

The Chopped kitchen kicks off with snails as the star ingredient. Contestants must find a way to pair escargot with red jalapeños. A slip involving a paper towel creates a risky scenario at one chef's station. When the entree round introduces Chinese eggplant and ground lamb, three chefs end up taking a similar approach to their dishes. In the final showdown, two fiercely motivated competitors battle it out to create impressive desserts featuring garnet yams and roasted noodles.
