This competition is all about turning just about anything into an amazing meal, so leftovers make for a perfect Chopped theme. In the appetizer round, the chefs are eager to prove they can transform food that might have otherwise been thrown away, and the judges are treated to four very different interpretations of the first basket. For the entrée round, the contestants pull out all the stops with a range of tools and techniques to impress. When the dessert basket is revealed, the finalists find just one slice of birthday cake—but only one chef will end up celebrating in this leftovers showdown.
