August gradually begins to regain his sense of self after the broadcast. His faith in God starts to resurface, though the family expansion he and Emilie envisioned feels distant. When Christian approaches Amira hoping to mend their relationship, he learns that she has split from Mark. Amira sees promise in the Nepali journalists and wants to publish their stories as a book, but Christian is not on board with the idea. Meanwhile, John is still fighting to save his marriage, as Elisabeth drifts further away and embraces her independence. Johannes, grappling with the tense atmosphere among the staff and his affair with the engraver, suggests hosting an Easter lunch to bring everyone together.
