Ryan Hardy, along with Agent Mike Weston and FBI Specialist Debra Parker, who is assigned to spearhead the investigation into Joe Carroll and his cult, delves into the complex history of Carroll’s mind. To gain further insight, they turn to Claire Matthews, Carroll's ex-wife and Hardy's past love. Meanwhile, Emma, Jacob, and Paul are holding Claire’s son, Joey, at a secluded house in the countryside as they strategize their next steps.
