Episode Overview
In this episode, Norm explores the magnificent Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, a grand chateau built in 1880 by George Washington Vanderbilt. This stunning property features an impressive array of fine furniture, including exquisite Sheraton and Chippendale pieces. Norm stumbles upon an elegant mahogany dressing table with a foldable mirror and beautifully turned legs, which he plans to recreate in The New Yankee Workshop. Continuing from the previous episode, Norm ventures into a North Carolina national forest to learn how the U.S. Forest Service manages timber distribution before visiting a local plywood mill to observe the production of high-quality plywood.
