In an era without television and limited access to newspapers, our forebears had ample opportunity to enjoy card games, making game tables a common fixture. These tables typically boasted circular tops that could be folded and stored against a wall when not in use. When it was time for a game, the top would drop down on a hinged gate leg, accommodating four players comfortably. Norm stumbled upon a vintage version in the historic town of Deerfield, Massachusetts, which served as his muse for creating his own piece.
