The Detectives (1993)
S19E06 Cowboy Sideboard
Episode Overview
Terry Winchell, an antiques dealer in Wyoming, is eager to showcase the exceptional creations of furniture designer Thomas Molesworth. In the 1930s, Molesworth, based in Cody, Wyoming, crafted unique "Cowboy"-style furniture using peeled Douglas fir logs, vibrant red leather, and intricate carvings of Native American teepees, animal tracks, and firearms. Notably, Dwight Eisenhower and Thomas Yawkey, former owner of the Boston Red Sox, were admirers of this distinctive dude ranch style. During a visit to Winchell's shop in Jackson Hole, Norm discovers Molesworth's rising popularity and decides to infuse his New England craftsmanship with a Molesworth-inspired sideboard for his collection.
