Haunted History (2013)
S01E08 Katrina Cannibal
Episode Overview
New Orleans, known for its rich spiritual legacy, is often dubbed America's most haunted city. In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina struck, leaving an indelible mark on the city and its ethereal realms. Local residents Zack Bowen and Addie Hall chose to stay behind as "holdouts" in the French Quarter. However, by October 2006, Zack took his own life by leaping from a hotel rooftop, shortly after he had committed a gruesome act: the murder and dismemberment of Addie. This shocking crime rattled the community, prompting speculation—was Zack's horrific act influenced by his traumatic past in Iraq, or was he a victim of demonic forces unleashed by the hurricane, attracting restless spirits to prey on the living?
