Title: Lafe's Comeback Plot: Lafe makes a comeback and convinces Mr. Drysdale to hire him as a nightwatchman at the bank, hoping to safeguard Jed's wealth. Upon learning from Mr. Drysdale that only a portion of the money is stored at the bank, Lafe suspects that the Clampetts have hidden the rest in their yard. He rushes back home, feigning the construction of a root cellar for Granny, all the while searching for their hidden fortune.
