Episode Overview

Lieutenant Gruber's dog swipes a sausage containing the painting of the Fallen Madonna, and although the Lieutenant accidentally starts to mince it, he manages to rescue it just in time. Meanwhile, the missing knockwurst leaves Monsieur Alphonse unable to retrieve the money he lent for the sausage's ransom. The Resistance compensates him with poorly forged currency from Monsieur Leclerc. Just as things seem to settle down, the sausage is sent to Gruber for another copy. Additionally, Michelle devises a new scheme to return the British airmen using an old plane powered by an engine from General Von Klinkerhoffen's lawn mower.
