Michelle devises a ridiculous plan involving a steam engine tour through Nouvion, which entails gathering eighty meters of braces. It falls to René to source these from every man in Nouvion. Meanwhile, Herr Flick and Helga make their entrance in a staff car, intent on keeping a close watch on the unfolding events.
