Ted’s growing romance with Marjorie seems to be thriving until he meets her daughter, Susannah, and her pregnant partner, Abby, who have moved in from the Gold Coast. Ted is shocked to learn that Susannah’s brother is the father of their baby. Although he wants to build a friendship, Susannah rebuffs his efforts. Matters worsen when Ted feels Susannah is undervaluing her mother and mistakenly voices his concerns to Marjorie, who naturally sides with her daughter. Will Ted and Marjorie's relationship fizzle out before it even starts? Meanwhile, Ben is trying to move on from his breakup with Melissa and becomes involved with a younger woman, Elly, at the boat club. After they return to the Karandonis house, Elly unexpectedly passes out. Ben and Carbo rush her to the hospital, where she recovers but accuses Ben of spiking her drink. How will he clear his name? Rachel is set on disliking the attractive trad
