In the Rafter world, perfect bubbles can burst in surprising and challenging ways. Recently laid-off Rachel sees new opportunities ahead, dreaming of a getaway with Jake. Unbeknownst to her, Jake picks up on her hints and arranges time off for a surprise. However, just before he can reveal his plans, Rachel receives a call from her former boss, Paul Morgan, offering her a better job with enhanced perks.
