Eighteen-year-old Jennifer is in the midst of recovery from a brain tumor when she receives a visit from Bill, a reformed ex-con from her church. Initially, she feels grateful for his support, but her appreciation quickly shifts to unease as it becomes clear that Bill has intentions of making Jennifer his own—permanently.
