Episode Overview

Heartbroken after his split with Donna, Eric laments that they had never shared that first kiss. In response to his despair, a guardian angel arrives to demonstrate that experiencing love, even if it ends in heartbreak, is invaluable. The angel guides Eric on a trip to the future, visiting the '80s, revealing how the lives of those around him would have unfolded without his relationship with Donna. Initially resistant to the idea that the heartache was worth it, Eric eventually discovers the joyful moments he would have missed out on entirely.
