Juuzo makes his move to reclaim Tetsuro, carrying the unconscious Extended boy to a spot where Berühren will have trouble tracking them. With Tetsuro still out cold, Juuzo takes the chance to wander through town in search of his preferred brand of cigarettes. Along the way, a man named Cunningham approaches and greets him.
