Big Jim finds himself in a precarious situation after being taken hostage by Aktaion, the ruthless private company intent on exploiting the Dome's energy potential in Chester's Mill. To gain insight into their plans, he must coerce Christine into revealing her intentions. Meanwhile, Joe and Norrie challenge the new regulations imposed on the town, leading them into a tense confrontation with the increasingly unpredictable townsfolk.
