During a chance encounter, a man from Kimble's past recognizes him while he's in disguise. He reveals that during one of his swift, quiet exits from a town, he inadvertently left behind clues suggesting he was deceased. As a result, an innocent individual is now wrongfully imprisoned for his supposed murder.
