Episode Overview

While on a bus, Kimble finds himself caught in a tense situation as police board to apprehend an escaped convict who has taken a woman hostage. In the ensuing chaos, Kimble manages to subdue the criminal but sustains a stab wound, leading to the convict’s death. Mistaken for a hero, he is taken to a hospital, which turns out to be a prison infirmary. There, two inmates recognize him and threaten to expose his identity unless he helps them steal morphine. Although he reluctantly agrees, the plan unravels when a guard discovers the drugs. An innocent orderly, Mickey Deming, is blamed for the crime. After recovering, Kimble decides to risk his own safety to help clear Mickey's name.
