Arcane has sent his newest mutant creature into the swamp, programmed to devour anything in its path. If this experiment proves successful, he plans to unleash even more of these beasts. To keep Swamp Thing at bay, Arcane kidnaps a hostage, using them as leverage to negotiate his freedom from any interference.
