Episode Overview
At a university in Vancouver, a sleep researcher is investigating a patient’s nightmare when an unexpected entity emerges from his monitor. Meanwhile, at Torringtom, an energetic Diana confides in Martin about her secret to acing the midterms—candy. Thanks to her sugar rush, she feels wide awake and full of energy for studying. Martin suggests that with midterms behind her, she should ease up on the sweets, but Diana isn’t keen on that idea. He accuses her of having an addiction and wagers that she can’t resist sweets for 24 hours. If she fails, she’ll do his algebra homework for a month; if she succeeds, Martin will skip his horror movie marathons for the same duration. Their challenge leads them to Centre, where Diana faces her first sugary temptations, before they head to Vancouver. There, they discover a student who has been in a deep sleep for three days, despite attempts to awaken her. During a bioscan, Martin notices her eyes
