Conrad and Devon put in a tremendous effort to save Bradley, a colleague who has crashed through the hospital's skylight. As they ponder the circumstances surrounding his fall, Dr. Bell reflects on the time he sidelined Bradley for dozing off during an operation. Amidst the chaos, Mina is assigned to introduce Chastain's new star cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. AJ Austin, to the hospital, but his unpredictable nature takes her by surprise. Meanwhile, Nic reignites her passion when she discovers an oncologist who previously collaborated with Lane, but during her visit, she starts to feel like someone is tailing her.
