Vincent manages to save a 19-year-old boy found abandoned in a dumpster and rushes him to the emergency room, where he slips into a coma. When Evan reveals that the boy's x-rays show a pattern of past bone fractures, Cat and Tess interrogate his father, Zachary Holt. He expresses concern that his son's ADHD, along with a history of fighting and gambling, may have led him astray. The detectives also speak with Lois Whitworth, the owner of the Westchester Polo Club where the boy worked. Lois is taken aback to learn that her daughter, Clarissa, was dating him. Clarissa insists she ended the relationship due to his involvement in illegal activities, but Cat and Tess sense she’s hiding something.
