On July 23, 1977, Claudia Rodrigues, the affluent sibling of a famous actress, finds herself at a lavish gathering in a fashionable Rio de Janeiro neighborhood. What transpires sets off a nationwide uproar, marking one of Brazil's most notorious crimes. As the case unfolds, it involves the wealthy heir of a watchmaking magnate, the notorious Jogo do Bicho crime syndicate, a significant amount of cocaine, and a determined local detective dubbed the "Brazilian Barretta." He must confront Rio's entrenched corruption and power to seek justice for Claudia's tragic demise.
