Episode Overview
When Homer is dared to create a new Christmas carol, he instead pens a tune voicing his disdain for Ned Flanders. The catchy song quickly rises in popularity, driving the Simpsons to the brink of annoyance, prompting them to escape to a dude ranch. There, Lisa develops a crush on a local boy named Luke but feels jealousy when she overhears him chatting with a girl named Clara on the phone. One evening, after meeting Clara, Lisa mistakenly gives her incorrect directions, causing Clara to get lost. Realizing Clara is Luke's sister, Lisa hurries to rescue her, but when she explains the situation to Luke, he is upset and breaks up with her. Meanwhile, Bart and Homer join forces to assist a Native American tribe in removing a beaver dam to help them reclaim their land.
