Episode Overview

After tainted barley is found in Krusty’s veggie burgers, the economy of Ogdenville collapses, leaving many workers jobless. They migrate to Springfield in search of new opportunities. In response, Mayor Quimby shuts Springfield’s borders and recruits citizens to help monitor them. Taking initiative, Homer forms a border patrol team to assist with the effort.
