A tornado hits Springfield, whisking away Santa's Little Helper. While Homer and Marge search for their beloved dog, the tornado returns, nearly sweeping them up as well. Frantic and worried about the safety of their children, Marge feels the need to appoint a guardian to look after them in case anything happens.
