Mr. Burns disguises himself as "Fred" at the nuclear power plant, befriending Homer and the rest of the crew. He introduces various perks to enhance the employees' working conditions, but Smithers feels threatened and schemes to revert Burns to his old, grumpy self, planning to expose the true identity of "Fred."
