Episode Overview
Kathleen's home catches fire, and with no insurance to cover the loss, the villagers band together to raise funds. However, Peter struggles to contribute, as Father Mac keeps demanding his earnings. When the donations fall short, Siobhan proposes a risky bet on a dog race to increase the total. Brian hears about a con at the race from an old friend, and the potential payout is too tempting to resist. Unfortunately, Peter learns something during confession that leads them to bet on the wrong dog, leaving Brian deceived as well. Desperate, the villagers turn to a poker tournament as their last hope. It's a high-stakes gamble, but their only chance to recover the funds. Siobhan enters the tournament for the village, facing off against Mossy Phelan. After a tense night, it comes down to just Siobhan and Mossy, but Brian swoops in with a cheque to help Siobhan secure the win. Kathleen eventually returns to her rebuilt home,
