Episode Overview
Siobhan and Brendan are quietly organizing their wedding, but Aidan doubts their motives. Siobhan confides in Niamh, explaining that their marriage is more about practicality and finances. Niamh pressures Siobhan into purchasing a wedding dress and arranges a surprise reception, but the ceremony is abruptly canceled at the altar. Meanwhile, Emma seeks information about her great-grandfather, facing resistance from Kathleen before turning to Brian. He reveals that Michael Dillon was married to Nora Byrne, Eamonn's aunt, and their son was born out of wedlock. This explains some of the tension between the families, but Emma learns that Michael and Nora had intended to marry. Eamonn falls while attempting to save a sheep, prompting Danny to seek Sean's assistance. Although Eamonn declines Sean's help during his recovery, Danny, oblivious to the situation, steps in anyway. Niamh encourages Ambrose to expand his social circle, but he seems hesitant to engage.
