Episode Overview
Tess feels uneasy when she discovers how well Stevie can read her during their poker game. Stevie explains the concept of 'tells'—the subtle cues that reveal a person's true thoughts. Meanwhile, Stevie finds herself in hot water after agreeing to transport Sandra's bull, Crusher, to settle their debt. When Crusher shows up in a Drovers paddock, seemingly ready to breed, suspicion quickly falls on Stevie. Unaware of the arrangement between Stevie and Sandra, Tess, remembering Stevie's past with borrowed items, jumps to conclusions. To avoid involving the police, she reluctantly offers to give Sandra half of the calves from the serviced cows. Furious, Stevie investigates Sandra's property and discovers that Crusher injured himself days earlier, making it impossible for him to sire any offspring. Both women realize they've been tricked.
