As Governor Arthur Alcantara approaches his re-election campaign, he faces intense scrutiny from the powerful journalist, Sonny Liwanag, who investigates his suspected corruption and illicit wealth. In a bid to protect the Governor, Benjo steps in and manages to silence Sonny just before critical information can surface. By proving his loyalty, Benjo earns back the Governor's trust, positioning himself strategically to carry out his own scheme to ultimately take the Governor down.
