Fed up with Garfield's constant torment, Odie decides to leave home. He finds refuge with a boy named Nathan, who has a wild, mad scientist demeanor and is intent on using his latest invention to turn Odie into a cockroach. Realizing his friend is in danger, Garfield must spring into action to rescue Odie from Nathan's bizarre plan.
