Eddie Gourmand, a food critic, loses his job on the show when his station manager decides to take a different direction, focusing on healthier cooking. While at a movie theater, Eddie unexpectedly runs into Jon, who invites him over for dinner. However, when Eddie accidentally hurts his foot due to Garfield's antics, he finds himself stuck at Jon’s place, insisting that Jon care for him during his recovery or face a lawsuit.
