Minnie Driver, the Hollywood actress, embarks on a journey to uncover the truth about her late father, Ronnie, and his family's history. Growing up, she was unaware that her father had a wife and another family while he was with her mother. Although Minnie knows he received a medal for his bravery in the battle of Heligoland Bight during World War Two, she is taken aback to learn that he had discarded it. Driven by curiosity, Minnie seeks to understand why he would give up such an honor, leading her to discover previously unknown relatives and a deep connection within her newfound family.
