Episode Overview

To win over Deena Marx, a conservative woman he likes, Alex feigns enthusiasm for the Equal Rights Amendment. His ruse spirals out of control when he joins Deena at a debate, where he defends a feminist facing harassment, leading to chaos and his arrest. In jail, he’s hailed as a hero by the women around him, but when he’s invited to be the keynote speaker at an ERA rally, Alex recognizes that his act has escalated beyond his control.
