Episode Overview

While DJing at the school radio station, Alex forms a friendship over the phone with Lorraine Ferrar, a fellow swing music enthusiast. When he finally meets the intriguing 40-year-old, he is taken aback to learn she is the mother of one of his sister’s friends. Despite the age difference, they bond over their mutual interests and enjoy a platonic connection. As their “dates” become more frequent, Alex’s parents, Steven and Elyse, struggle to accept the situation and eventually ask Lorraine to end her relationship with their son.
