While the rest of her family is away for the weekend, Mallory looks forward to enjoying some time alone at home. However, her plans take an unexpected turn when she finds herself accidentally locked in the basement with her overly enthusiastic neighbor, Skippy—exactly the last person she wanted to be stuck with. Despite their differences, the two come up with a creative solution to stay warm and end up sharing some unexpected, heartfelt moments as they wait for someone to let them out.
